Assalaamu ‘Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Students, Parents, and Guardians! We welcome you and your family to AMCO Sunday School. This school belongs to you! The goal of AMCO Sunday School is to provide a well-rounded Islamic education and positive environment for our students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Our teachers and staff are committed to teaching and facilitating students’ strong moral character and values based on Islamic teachings and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

We offer classes in Quran, Tafseer, Quranic Grammar, Islamic Theology & Critical Thinking, Islamic Studies, and Seerah & History for students in Pre-K through 12th Grade on Sundays from 9:40 a.m. – 1:30 p.m for our regularly scheduled onsite learning program. The goal of each class is to have students achieve a greater understanding of the Islamic faith and way of life. The Quran period includes reading, recitation, memorization, and comprehension of the Holy Quran. In Islamic Studies, students learn the basic pillars of faith, and the Sunnah and Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The text and workbooks used are published by IQRA and Noor Art. Throughout the day, students will also learn and use their daily du’as and at the end of the school day they receive, insha’Allah, the reward of praying in congregation.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “After one dies his actions stop except three things that he left behind: continuous charity, knowledge from which benefit is obtained, and a virtuous child who prays for him.”
